Bracalet woman-proccess /mujer con brazalete-proceso

Comencé dibujando los ojos y la nariz para para luego enmarcarla con el pelo. Quería que el rostro quedara enmarcado así que he hecho el pelo muy oscuro centrando la imagen en la mirada.

I started drawing the eyes and nose and then frame it with hair. I wanted the face was framed so I did very dark hair focusing the eyes.

new pencils / nuevos lápìces

Me han regalado esta preciosa caja de colores y quería aprovechar para mostrar la gama de tonos que tiene.
A parte de los tonos ocres y los lápices tiene un par de lápices "negro" que pueden venir muy bien para las zonas mas oscuras sin tener que pasar el lápiz hasta el 8B para que salga un verdadero negro.
Tendré que ir utiizándolos para sacarle partido.

Some friend have given me this beautiful box of crayons and wanted to show the range of tones it has.
More than ocher pencils and 2B 4B pencils, it has a couple of pencils "black" than can come in handy for the darker areas without having to pass the 8B pencil to obtain a true black.

Aquí dejo las fotos que hice durante el proceso del dibujo. Mujer con espada. Para este dibujo he utilizado varias referencias. Comencé con un boceto y a partir de ahí busque ideas. La mano por ejemplo, la he sacado de mi mano mirándola con un espejo. El dibujo es demasiado grande para escanearlo así que simplemente le saqué fotos.



Here I post the pictures I took during the drawing process "Woman with sword". For this drawing I used several references. I started with a sketch and from there look for ideas. Hand for example I got from my hand looking at a mirror. The picture is too large to scan it so I took photos.

Me apetecía hacer un rostro durmiendo con el pelo enredado. Creo que he cometido un error al elegir el tamaño de la hora ya que pretendía hacer mucho mas pelo por la parte superior pero me ha sido imposible.


I wanted to drawing a woman sleeping with tangled hair. I think I made a mistake when choosing the size of the sheet because I would like to draw much longer hair on the top but it has been impossible.

He intentado darle al iris una degradación en el color siendo la parte de arriba mas oscura que la de abajo. Así intento conseguir dar vida a los ojos. También me gusta añadir un punto de luz.

I've tried to give the iris color degradation. In the top being darker than the bottom. I've tried to get give life to the eyes. I also like to add a point of light at the eye.

Intento de vez en cuando sentarme para preparar los siguientes dibujos. Es importante ver el encaje antes de ponerse a dibujar. Elegir el tamaño, lo que quieres que se vea, lo que no. Como si fueras a hacer una fotografía. No siempre dibujo todo lo que boceto pero me gusta tener unos cuantos para cuando no se que dibujar.


Sometimes I sit down to prepare the following drawings. It is important to see the socket before starting to draw. I like to choose the size of the paper, or what I want to see it the drawing and what not. As if you were to take a picture. I don't draw every sketch I do but I like to have a few of them to take a look.

Como se puede ver, los dos dibujos son el mismo. La única diferencia es que en el dibujo terminado (el de abajo) le he añadido un brillo. El brillo le da volumen al ojo y en mi opinión un poco de vida. A veces son los pequeños detalles los que mejoran un dibujo aunque es cuestión de gustos.

As you can see, the two drawings are the same. The only difference is that in the finished drawing (bottom) I have added a bright dot. The gloss gives volume to the eye and in my opinion some life. Sometimes it's the little details that enhance a drawing but it's only my opinion.

I wanted to draw a detail and not a complete drawing and I think I succeeded.
